Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE)
is a programme of the European Union to support and improve the
adoption of alternative and renewable sources of energy.
With a total budget of
€730 million, IEE is now part of the Competitiveness and Innovation
Programme (CIP). Out of this budget, €52 million have been allocated
for the 2007 call.
The programme supports
actions under three streams: renewable energy (ALTERNER), energy
efficiency (SAVE) and energy aspects of transport (STEER).
